Refunds Extended After Rough Launch
Sega heard the noise—and it wasn’t the roar of a bolter. Complaints poured in after Master Crafted Edition launched on June 10, with many players voicing frustration over its $39.99 price tag and minimal improvements compared to the Anniversary Edition. On Steam, user reviews quickly dipped into ‘Mostly Negative’ territory.
In response, Sega announced that refunds are available until July 10, 2025, regardless of how long you’ve played. That refund window closes at 6pm BST / 10pm PST, coinciding with the end of the Steam Summer Sale.
